Food and Wine

 If you are a food and wine lover, Trentino has a lot to offer! Comano Terme is located in one of the areas along the “Strada del Vino e dei Sapori” : there you’ll find many vineyards, wineries and farms where you can taste and buy the typical products of Trentino and Comano Valle Salus.

 Among our specialties we recommend you the traditional turnip salami “Ciuìga”, native of Dorsino and San Lorenzo in Banale, where every  November is celebrated the “Ciuìga festival” and theme menus and tastings are organized. Moreover, we suggest you to try the typical walnuts of the Bleggio Municipality, the potatoes of Lomaso, the tasty cheeses and the delicious apples of Trentino.

A few kilometers from Comano Terme you’ll find the “Valle dei Laghi” (Lakes Valley), a territory characterized by lush forests, crystal clear water basins and colorful vineyards. The Valle dei Laghi is an area well-known for its ancient winemaking tradition: here are produced fine wines, including the local Vino Santo, a white wine with a sweet taste produced with the grape cultivar Nosiola .

The production and sale of wines offers on the market also other varieties such as: Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
